Our Growth team is responsible for building our reputation as a leading design partner to global brands through the promotion of our work and perspectives. As Marketing Manager, you’ll work under the guidance of our VP Growth and CEO to coordinate and manage marketing activities from content and SEO to paid search and email marketing. You’ll build deep knowledge of our capabilities, our clients, and our work, while championing our positioning, our culture, and our values through the messaging we put out. Success in this role will be measured by volume of qualified leads and contact with decision makers through improved consistency and velocity of our marketing operations.


This role is open to candidates in Vancouver, Toronto, or NYC.


What You’ll Do


  • Manage and coordinate our marketing plan including content development and distribution, email marketing, social media marketing
  • Manage tools and processes including list building, CRM updates, and email deployment
  • Organize and manage hosted events (both in person and virtual)
  • Manage marketing services partners and vendors for PR and paid media
  • Build and manage relationships with media contacts
  • Develop and present marketing activity status reports to the leadership team


    What You’ll Bring


    • This is a mid-level role for candidates with 3+ years experience in digital marketing strategy and management
    • Self starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and in collaboration with colleagues and partners
    • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing tactics, tools, and methodologies, along with an understanding of SEO and SEM strategies that drive qualified leads
    • Experience in content strategy, writing and editing, with an appreciation for brand voice
    • Aptitude for data-driven decision and progressive reporting, with an ability to articulate the story behind the numbers
    • Clear communicator with the confidence to engage colleagues, partners, clients, and prospects at all levels of seniority
    • Background in agency, consultancy, or startup environments is preferred
